Bucks are a very enjoyable part of goat ownership, I'm quite confident that they are not for everyone though! They amuse us with their antics and endear themselves to us with their loving nature. All my bucks are big, sappy, sweet, teddy bears, granted they don't get a lot of petting in the fall when they are in rut, but they generally love nothing more than some human attention! Who can resist a face like this?

I was very happy to have the opportunity to purchase Mordechai from the Dixie Does Herd in West Virginia. He's a blend of some of the best animals from the Waiilatpu, Willow Run, Hoach and Cherry Glen Herds. And he's a two tone chamoise, my favorite color! He is available for buck service this fall $50 for the first doe and $40 for each additional doe.

Rapid is a beautiful buck. His dam is a home bred doe from the Olentangy herd who has bucks all over the country. He's so well put toghether he just great to look at. He's held up so well for being an older buck and he's got a gentleman's personality to boot. What more can anyone ask for? I've only bred him to two does and I cannot wait to see what the kids look like. I've got my fingers crossed that some of that lavendar color will pop up in some of the kids!

I already have Bogie's maternal sister and just LOVE her udder. He's put together very well. I'm looking forward to trying him out this fall. His dam is not only a permanent Champion but her LA score is a 91 EEEE, You really can't get much better than that! CAE Negative 7/08

BUCK/STUD Service Policy and Pricing
1. Does must be in good health and free from disease and pass a visible heath check, before being exposed to a buck. (This is for your does health as much as my bucks!). No horned does please.
2. I want you to have a successful breeding so if your doe comes back into heat within a 4 month period after the first exposure you can bring her back and re-breed free of charge. This is NOT transferable to another doe. If your doe comes back into season and you take her to another breeder or choose to not re-breed her, there is no credit towards another breeding with another doe.
3. Board is $2/day. If you want your doe milked while boarding price increases to $4/day.
4. Multiple doe discounts are available.
