Erie Shores Boers

We've always bred Boer crosses for 4H projects, but a friend and a Boer breeder allowed me to get a FB and a PB Boer from her herd.  Since these were extremely nice doelings I couldn't pass up the offer.   So now I'm breeding Boers.  Boers however are really my son's project and they'll be in his name and he's decided on the herd name of ERIE SHORES.  All the Boers tested CAE NEGATIVE 1/24/07 and again 7/16/08!

RAVENWOOD KASH FLOW AI (FB)

This is my new buck Ravenwood Kash Flow, and AI buckling out of CH Wynneshire Max's Kashed and Mustang Sally .    This boy is impressive, I like everything about him, rear legs, chest, strength of bone, nice feet and great temperament.   He will be available for buck service starting in 08'.  Please read my buck service policy.  CAE Negative 7/08  His growth is very impressive.  This is what is said about his sire, "He is very correct in general appearance with exceptional feet and legs for Boer.  As a yearling he was shown three times in senior buck competition finishing 3 times 1st place, two times GCH and one time RGCH.  In 2001, he added three more Champion Challenge wins to his credit.  He is 50% S. African, out of a permanent Champion S. African Sire.  His dam was also shown three times this year, finishing tree times 1st place and two time RGCH."

Patches is a two teated PB Boer registered at 98% wih the USBGA.    Her pedigree includes EGGSTREAM Ennobled, EGGSFILE Ennobled, South Forty's Royal, ACR Twister's Big Boy.   She's a very nicely put together doeling with a rump like a Hampshire hog!   She is typically bred for Janurary kids, for pricing due dates check the for sale page.    CAE NEG 1/07 and 7/08

 SEAU A LAIT BEONIE

Beonie is my part time goat. She spends the months of May to December at an apple orchard in the petting zoo.  Beonie is by far my best and favorite goat.  She is as solid as they come, at nine years old she has the feet of a yearling!   She makes over a 12 lbs of milk each day and is a great mother, her udder is solidly attached and has held up to raising over 8 sets of kids.  She tested CAE negative 4/04 and 12/04, 1/06,  1/07 and 7/08.  Beonie's 2004 kids recieived Grand Champion and Reserve at the Lucas Co.Fair in the Market Goat Classes!    She is typically bred for Janurary kids, for pricing due dates check the for sale page.     Pictured are some of Beonie's wethers...

 SEAU A LAIT BUTTERSCOTCH

Butters is my son's 4H goat and is the daughter of Seau a Lait Beonie.  She is a two teated boer cross, registered as a 50%, with the USBGA.  Her maternal brothers have won both Grand and Reserve Champion at the county fair.   She herself won GCH % doe twice once at a 4H show and the other at an open show.   She is typically bred for Janurary kids, for pricing due dates check the for sale page.  CAE Negative (1/06, 1/07, 7/08)

ERIE SHORES JOLENE

Another daugher out of Beonie, like her sister Butter's pictured above, she is also two teated and registered as 50% with the USBGA.  We just really like what we get when we cross Beonie with a FB boer and since she's getting older we wanted to keep another doeling out of her.  Joe (Jolene) is turning out very nice, all that we hope a beonie daughter would be!    I'll try to get an updated photo of Jolene soon.  She has long since grown into those ears!

E & S FARM JAZMINE

A 99% doe that is two teated and who's got some really nice qualities.  I like her stocky build and long long frame, and thick her neck is so mucular it reminds me of a football player.  Nice easy going temperment to boot!

E & S PRINCESS FIONA

100% FB out of Dr. Pepper (enobled).   This is no Ogre, Fiona is my newest addition a pretty red full blood.  I was looking for color and she fell into my lap.  Again like the doe above a nice easy going attitude.

ERIE SHORES TINKER

Tinker is a percentage doe.  That has such a pretty head and some paint genes.  I'm waiting to see how she matures.   I'm hoping for good things out of her.

ROLL FARMS MARTHA WASHINGTON

Martha is a two teated 88% doe, she was born in April, so I'm not sure if I'll be breeding her for 2011 kids.  Only time will tell.  I like the way she's put together, she reminds me a lot of Butters and Jasmine pictured above.   Thanks to Kim Roll and Roll Farms, once again a nice quality animal!  My husband named her, but you know, Martha kind of fits her!
