We've always bred Boer crosses for 4H projects, but a friend and a Boer breeder allowed me to get a FB and a PB Boer from her herd.  Since these were extremely nice doelings I couldn't pass up the offer.   So now I'm breeding Boers.  Boers however are really my son's project and they'll be in his name and he's decided on the herd name of ERIE SHORES.  All the Boers tested CAE NEGATIVE 1/24/07 and again 7/16/08!

This is my new buck Ravenwood Kash Flow, and AI buckling out of CH Wynneshire Max's Kashed and Mustang Sally .    This boy is impressive, I like everything about him, rear legs, chest, strength of bone, nice feet and great temperament.   He will be available for buck service starting in 08'.  Please read my buck service policy.  CAE Negative 7/08  His growth is very impressive.  This is what is said about his sire, "He is very correct in general appearance with exceptional feet and legs for Boer.  As a yearling he was shown three times in senior buck competition finishing 3 times 1st place, two times GCH and one time RGCH.  In 2001, he added three more Champion Challenge wins to his credit.  He is 50% S. African, out of a permanent Champion S. African Sire.  His dam was also shown three times this year, finishing tree times 1st place and two time RGCH."

E & S FARM JOULES (FB)

Joules is the great-granddaughter of the one and only TARZAN Ennobled.    Her pedigree also includes, OSCAR Ennobled, M'bala Kudu King and Texas Twister.    She was an easy pick,  she's built like a tank and so heavy, holy cow, I could barely carry her little truck butt to the pen when I got her as a weanling!!    She's all muscle.  I named her Joules because her future is so bright... it's simply ELECTRIC!!! She is typically bred for Janurary kids, for pricing due dates check the for sale page.  CAE NEG 1/07  and 7/08

You could say I wouldn't be offended if someone told me that these girls have a lot of 'junk in the trunk.'  They've got rear ends bigger than a full size SUV and that's just fine by me!

ERIE SHORES JOLENE

Another daugher out of Beonie, like her sister Butter's pictured above.  We just really like what we get when we cross Beonie with a FB boer and since she's getting older we wanted to keep another doeling out of her.  Joe (Jolene) is turning out very nice, all that we hope a beonie daughter would be!  She is for sale at $250 Firm, I'm not going to give this girl away, she's worth every penny.  She will be an easy keeper, kidder and heavy milker.   If kept for 09' she'll be bred for Jan/Feb kids.  If sold as a bred do her price will be $300  CAE Negative 7/08.

2008:  3rd Place Utility Doe Lucas Co. Fair.  3rd Place % Doe Lucas Co. Fair Open show.

ERIE SHORES ELECTRA

This is a FB daughter out of Joules, pictured above.  She is turning out to be quite a tank and with a nice roman nose!  She goes back to Tarzan T66 on both sides, along with a ton of ennoblements.  She is for sale at $350 Firm, these days anyone with a barn and a pen seems to be breeding Boers and selling them for $100/each.   But with anything else you get what you pay for this girl would be an asset to any breeding program.   If kept for '09 she'll be bred for March '09 kids.  If sold as a bred do her price will be $400. CAE Negative 7/08.

2008:  Jr. GCH Utility Doe Lucas Co. Fair Jr. Show.  2nd Place FB/PB doe Lucas Co. Fair Open Show.

E & S HANNA

Hanna is my new addition.  I had her grandmother years ago and was happy to bring her (at least her granddaughter) back home!   She is a 75% boer, no papers, the other 25% is Alpine so I'm looking forward to having good milkability here!  She is bred to a grandson of Tarzan T66, and she's crossed back to that line earlier in her pedigree, for early Janurary babies.
