KIDS (HUMAN)

Erin has been in 4H since 1998, she has done a great deal from Marigolds, Tomatoes, Horses, Horseless Horse, Dairy Goats, Watercolor Art, Photography, to Market Chickens. 4H has taught her about herself, setting goals and competing fairly.  She has added Market Lambs, Goats and Turkeys to the agenda for 2004 as an FFA project.  For 2005, well why stop with so few projects?    Breeding fancy poultry is next with bantams.  Needless to say its  very busy here!  She also has competed in CDE's for FFA,  earning a 1st place in the state of Ohio for wildlife management and is competing at regionals for Landscaping in Massachusetts (look out Nationals...here she comes!).  In addition she's been president of the 4H club, Broncos, and Vice President of her FFA chapter (Oregon/Clay). Update:   Erin graduated from her class of ~230 students as salutatorian in 2006.   Congratulations Erin!  She's  attending The University of Toledo this fall, majoring in Math Education.

We strongly believe in raising our children around nature and animals, for their own mental and physical health.  This must have made some kind of impact; Erin excels at anything she does (besides sports...it's a genetic flaw from mom) and Jarod wants to be a zoologist, lawyer, or a pediatric oncologist (although he called it a cancer doctor for kids).
